CCT Basketball

Energy-Effort-Excel

While CCT Basketball is a superior alternative to recreational play, we strongly believe there are no shortcuts to successful player development and are committed to that development... not just trophy chasing.

Our goal is for each team to be competitive within the level they compete. We want our athletes to be challenged while being successful.

We follow the USA Basketball Long-Term Athlete Development Model and expect our athletes to WORK and ADVANCE their way through the Player Development Curriculum. Athletes should expect in-depth training of skills, drills, strengthening, and other forms of training. We strive to build basketball IQ through a multifaceted approach. Athletes will be evaluated twice each season to assess their growth and development. They will be required to set personal goals for themselves as well as collaborate with their teammates to create a set of goals to accomplish together. Teams of the same age/ability may occasionally have joint practices as we have found this to be greatly beneficial. For more information visit our FAQs.

While Spring is the offical AAU Season, Elementary and Middle School participation in Fall, Winter and Summer seasons are an opportunity for further development, training, and game reps to prepare for the Spring Season.  We expect our Junior and Senior athletes to be engaged with their school's Varsity teams in some capacity. Therefore, our Varsity teams may not compete in elective Fall, Winter, and Summer seasons if the scheduling conflict is too excessive. Freshmen and Sophomores will participate during these seasons for additional development and training. For more information visit our FAQs.

Nationals are the final and closing competition of the Spring AAU Season. Competing at Nationals is not guaranteed for every team regardless of qualifiers. While it may be listed on a team schedule, it is a placeholder for planning purposes only until solidified. Competing in Nationals tournaments will be at the combined discretion of the team coaches and Organization Directors. For more information visit our FAQs.
